International cooperation

The aim of international cooperation is to propagate medal art. Realization of mutual tasks allows the exchange of experience and gives the opportunity to confront students’ works from different universities.

In year 2008/2009 our Medal and Small Sculpture Forms Studio at the Faculty of Fine Arts of the Nicolas Copernicus University in Toruń from Poland started cooperation with Bulgarian studio lead by Prof. Bogomil Nikolov at the National Academy of Art in Sofia  from Bulgaria. Student created medals based on ‘Dialog’ subject.

In year 2009/2010, we extended our cooperation of two other universities and made a shared project titled ‘Time’. New joiners are: Fine Plastics and Medals Studio lead by full Prof. Damir Matausic from the Academy of Fine Arts of the University of Zagreb from Croatia and a Studio lead by Prof. João Duarte at the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Lisbon from Portugal.
